i-Phone 5 not charging in car

I got an i-Phone along with an i-Pod and a generic usb car charger.
It was working flawlessly until I had to use another car, and got the charger in it, working ok.

What happens is when I moved the charger back to the previous car it only charges the iPod. When I try to charge the iPhone it says the accessory is not recognisable or something like that.

Anyone have a clue?

I also face problem like you. My bro changes his phone car charger to another car. But First its work better. Some time later its not charged. For that face a big problem.
Its time without car charge Not be possible to go out.
At last found to be solving the problem & Bought Avantek Charger. The Avantek charger Service is so good.
I also offer you to use Avantek Charger & to solve your problem.
