Actually you do not need to get that mobo at all. Cheaper and OC friendly mobos are available for AMD.

You can get a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P for $73.30...
If you have money, go with a Z motherboard(Z87 maybe, it's cheaper, I have one) and a Core i5 with K suffix, otherwise multiplier is locked and you can not OC it.

Otherwise, go with AMD FX 8350, good motherboard, PSU and cooling.

Intel runs cooler and AMD overclocks better. AMD CPUs are often weaker than Intel CPUs so people OC them to get same performance as Intel stock speed on a particular CPU. Intel is around 90% better in single core performance. Games use 1 or 2 cores, maximum 4(it's rare).

What i5 do you plan to get?

For example, i5 4440 is a good equivalent to FX 8350. Keep in mind that higher GHz and cores do not necessarily mean more performance.

AMD CPUs have more cores, but they run slower, and Intel has fewer cores but they are faster. For gaming, an i5 is all what you need. For serious video editing and 3D editing, look for an i7.

TL;DR: If you want to OC, go with AMD. If you want pure performance, go with Intel.

If you want to OC, I would suggest AMD FX Series. FX 6300 or FX 8320E. There are the best OC Friendly CPUS at a cheap rate. These have only 95Watts of TDP with there 6 & 8 cores. But if you pair it with a decent MOBO like ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 & a good after market cooler like Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, you can reach upto 4.7 GHZ. With a good water cooler, you can hit 5GHZ. I heard people hitting 5+ in some forums.

Thats on a Single core .... Not all 8 :)

thanks guys amd is quite cheaper than i5k i really want the i5k but the problem i dont got money left for the motherboard btw Asus Formula V Crosshair Z is way expensive for me if im going for Asus Formula V Crosshair Z better go with i5-4590 + h97 gaming board >.< i think its better to buy FX 8350 + good motherboard maybe msi gaming series + AIO liquid cooling http://www.benstore.com.ph/thermaltake-water-3-0-performer-c-all-in-one-liquid-cooling-system/?page_context=category&faceted_search=0

You cant hit the same results with the 8320e you need to either get a 8320 or 8350 Ive tested it against a 9590 and there is no difference what so ever :) hope my question gave you the answer,

AMD 8320FX
Corsair H100i
^ Best option you could get up to 5.8-9Ghz :) with reasonable temps ive achieved it :)

but your mobo is too damn expensive xD its like getting an i5k + z97
