I have some issues when I am playing some high demanding games i.e BF3 at high graphics, it usually runs fine with no lags and no frame rate issues but it randomly crashes to desktop after a while. Also running BF3 at the lowest setting doesn't make the game crash to desktop. I'm constantly checking my temp and this is what I have so far :

CPU: 35°C while doing nothing
CPU: Around 55°C when running BF3
GPU: Around 75°C when running BF3

I ran the memtest86 to see if it was an memory problem but after a few hours of testing during the night i woke up to my surprise that it wasn't a memory error.

I did not overclock anything on my computer my BIOS is on default settings and here is my build

MOBO: Maximus Hero VI
CPU: Intel i5-4670k @ 3.4GHz
GPU: Asus Nvidia geforce GTX 770
RAM: Kingston Hyperxfury 2X4GB DDR3
PSU: CX500M
OS : Windows 8.1

All drivers are updated.

I also some noticed that sometimes Windows audio service stopped responding for no particular reason when playing games that are demanding so I manually have to restart that service.

I have the same cpu and same gpu with about the same temps.

I don't know about BF3, but BF4 only crashes on me due to game bug issues and not anything on my end. BF3 by this point should however be pretty rock solid. I do not think it is your PSU. A single 770 is not that demanding. My guess is you have something software related. You could try rolling back the drivers to something a few months older to see if its just the new drivers not playing nice with BF3.

Other than that, its hard to say.
