Why is my benchmark so low for the 970 Plus vs my 860?

What did you use to benchmark? Is windows installed on the 970?
It is worth noting that benchmarks for storage are essentially worthless when it comes to real world performance. Is your 970 not working well in your day to day activities?

Also, your 860 is only rated for 550MB/520MB read/write, so that benchmark is just plain wrong.

Speed for 970 is right and with 860 you likely have one zero too many.
