I ran out of addresses

Hey guys!!
I currently have a Windows Domain on my company's subnet. The subnet is 10.10.5.0-10.10.5.255
Now, I ran out of addresses and I need to add a new subnet to my Windows 2003 server that will be 10.10.6.0-10.10.6.255, i am using Fortigate firewall and the IP address is 10.10.5.95

what is the best solution?
what are the change as to done?
please help me.

I just re-read your post, did you want all the addresses in the same network? or the 10.10.6.0 network on a different subnet?

If you want them on the same network:
I assume your current subnet mask is 255.255.255.0? If so simply change the subnet mask to 255.255.254.0. This will give you enough space for 10.10.5.0 - 10.10.6.255.

If you wanted them in different subnets let me know

Not so simple the boundary is wrong. If he want to continue to use the .5 block he will have to use .4 rather than .6 if he is going to use a /23 mask. Only way to use.5 and .6 in the same subnet will be to use a /22
