So I was about to turn on my pc today. I have surge protector that is connected directly to the wall socket.i never unplug the psu plug from the surge protector (the surge protector is always on, but turned off in the night when i have to sleep and it have my internet modem plugged in it too).

when i turned on my psu switch the psu plug which is in the surge protector starts burning so i immediately turned off the psu switch and its gone by doing that. I tried with two more psu cables but same result, whats the problem guys?? should i get a UPS or get ny psu replaced??
(sorry for my bad English it's not my first language)
my pc specs are
i7 8700k
z370 gigabyte
gtx 1070
Corsair PSU vs650

thanks in advance guys
