Hello, I've been 2 days trying to solve this problem, I have an Asus old motherboard V6-P8H61ELX (https://www.asus.com/supportonly/V6-P8H61ELX/HelpDesk_BIOS/) that I need to upgrade BIOS for a new Ivy bridge CPU I bought, so I go to the website and I face with this PDF:
that says : If your BIOS version is 01xx (e.g. 0109), it means your system is Sandy Bridge Platform and it DOES NOT support Ivy Bridge CPU. Then you must contact ASUS CSC or your vendor for “BIOS UPDATE TOOL SET”. Thank you very much for your understanding!
I contact with Asus to get the mentioned ''BIOS UPDATE TOOL SET'' but they tell me that they do not have such thing and only thing I can do is upgrade BIOS with AI Suite II or from the current BIOS which both of them give me error (obviously). Im not experienced in this topics thats why I need a little bit of help. Can I install the 3510 bios version somehow? Oh! I found this PDF researching a lot on google, which explains a lot but I have no idea from where to get the bootable device is using to run it under DOS but I can not download the bupdater from the asus website cuz the link is broken!! https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/utils/Bupdater_V130.zip
