I installed a new HDD the other day, and I downloaded LoL and only got 44 fps on low settings. But I could run bf3 on high settings and get 100 fps before. This was about 3 years or so ago. But now it says my graphic card is 256 mb when it should be about 1+ gb graphic card. I don't know what graphic card it is and don't have the cd for it. All I know that it used to have NVIDiA on it. I really need help as the graphic card is holding my fps down low.

Solution
See this image - you want what's in the green bit:

*very approximate. But there probably is two sets of display outputs if you've got a dedicated GPU and integrated graphics.

How do I make sure my display is plugged into the GPU, not your motherboard? I'm sorry I don't really know much about this. And I looked through the updates and nothing said about NVIDIA.

Plug your display cord into the display port on the graphics card, it will be the port that is lower down on the back of your computer most of the time

Some Cases make it like that.
