I recently purchased a new PSU and it has lowered the frames on all my games by around 400.

Update: It turns out my PSU was causing my CPU to heat up because of its own heat lowering my FPS ect.

I recently purchased a new PSU because my last one fizzled out (because of the quality). My old PSU was a Alpine 750W. My new PSU is a Cooler Master RS750-AMAAB1-UK GM Series G750M 80 PLUS® Bronze.
Since I have had this new PSU every game that I open i get 100% CPU usage and around 40 frames on games that i used to get around 200-400 on.
My specs:
intel core i5-4690k 3.5ghz quad-core processor
gtx 970
750 watt PSU
16GB ram
Windows 7

If you need any more specs or information just ask. This is urgent.
I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to computing but i should be able to try anything you recommend.

Did you connect power to your GPU, and is the monitor plugged into the GPU?

The G series from Cooler Master are poor quality , The only good Cooler Masters are the V series.
