Question I recently upgraded to a 1660 from a 1050 and apparently I'm cpu bottlenecked? I

I have an i5 7400 and on COD Warzone I should be getting about 80-90 fps on all max settings: according to

I'm playing max settings and only getting about 70 max and drops to 40 regularly. I upgraded to 1660 because I made sure that I wouldn't be CPU bottlenecked that much but apparently I am.
My cpu is bottlenecking my gpu a lot more than it should, any solutions?
System Specs:
CPU: i5 7400
GPU: GTX 1660
RAM: 16gb 2x8 ddr4 ram
PSU: 650W

I believe your cpu is holding you back with CoD, that game likes a lot of cpu cores. Google it if you’d like to see more info.
I knew that my amount of cores would hold me back but I didn't realise it would be this much, according to those videos I thought the bottleneck would be fine as it still gave me like 70fps minimum. But apparently it is holding me back far more than I thought, Is there any reason to for this?

If your playing at 1080p with that card your CPU is holding you back but not by much. Especially the fact it is not OCable. Anything above a 1060 or 2060 is a waiste of money on your system. The 1660Ti is a good fit however as I said the lack of OC and I believe that chip is quad core; this is going to hurt your FPS big time. That thing is probably clocked at 4Ghz and what not. 🤷‍♀️✝😲💯

Ok thanks but the performance I'm getting is not as much as it should be for an i5 7400. It regularly dips to 40fps because of my CPU when it really should stay above 70 according to the benchmark videos I linked above. I'm asking for a reason why this is the case.
