I see weird things on my screen

I don't know much compared to others out here and I am surprised no one has yelled at me yet lol but if this were MY problem I would check for viruses, reinstall my video drivers and then reboot and pray lol.. That's all I got. It looks pretty annoying.

Someone smarter than me should be along shortly? xD.. I guess it is safe to say you Googled stuff like "weird graphic smearing" and "ugly black smudge glitch".. Otherwise known as my plan "A" haha.

I'm like you ! :)

when you get an on screen glitch like that is can be a sign of the gpu or gpu ram is failing. I would open your system up and check that the gpu fan is moving. I would also power down the system...unplug the pc from the wall and reseat the gpu. over time with thermal heating and cooling a card can walk. I would also try and reinstall the june direct x update. to rule out a damaged files that most games use. I would also swap the monitor and cable to rule out screen issue.

Alright, I'll try that. How do I reset the gpu though ?
And I don't think it's ONLY game related since on the third pic you see that I have this glitch aswell, but I'll still try to reinstall the direct X

if it's a 5800 series amd card you can open the CCC and make the adjustments to speed under performance/amd overdrive. just move the sliders and save.

as stated above. older cards get clogged with dust and overheat. the thermal paste also dries out and should be cleaned and replaced.

Very instructive answer, at least for someone like me 😀
Just a couple of questions ; What is the CCC and by moving them do you move them manually ?

Hello,
I reduced the memory AND GPU performance by 50 mz and yet nothing has changed.
I made sure that the fan was working, and I cleaned it.
I think it's easier if I just buy a new video card >.<
