[SOLVED] I seem to have random inputs of the escape key?

I think my PC is randomly hitting escape.

I'm at a loss on how to test or debug this problem though.

I'll be playing a game, far cry, arkham knight, and I'll suddenly be at the menu as if I had hit escape. It's fairly random, and not repeatable.

If it's happening outside games it's rare enough not to be certain of.

This is a new PC, just recently built with win 10 64 bit as the OS.

Can anyone offer any suggestions? I've run norton virus scan.


Also while it might be my keyboard, I don't think it is, as I used it on my previous build without any trouble until very recently.

could you plug the keyboard on the front panel usb and see if this happens .

I'm using a Logitech G910. I've plugged it in to the front and will report back.

Does this occur with any other game? Are you 100% positive you're not accidentally brushing against the ESC key?

Correct. Multiple games, not near the key, that keyboard, the associated software.

If you are able to do it, uninstall or disable the KB software and test the game(s). See if it does it when using the KB as a typical dumb board.

Alas, didn't work, but the frequency seems to have gone down. That might just be an illusion though.

Darn good idea though.
