Question I shot my self in the foot, and it cost me $3K USD

I cannot express how terribly heartbroken I am.

This is my story, I've been building several PCs in my life, at least more than 20, and last year decided to build my 1st custom water cooled system, Extreme H2O I called it bloodline, is bright red inside a white case and to me just looks so beautiful, my major pain is the GPU.

For the first time I used Corsair Hydro components for everything, so when I installed the GPU water block XG Series for my Asus Strix RTX 3090, to my best knowledge I followed the instructions however my GPU is not working, so now I am using the Mobo graphics. Every time I use the 3090 GPU I get different errors, either the PC will not boot for some reason it doesn't even shows the bios start. Sometimes if It's able to finally start windows, after 10-15 seconds it will restart again, I like to think it has some kind of thermal throttling problem, but I am not sure.

I need help, my local PC shops won't touch it because it is custom water cooled, so I need someone, a professional who can look at it and fix it, I just need help getting the proper help to get this fix.

If I have to ship it, it's fine, I just need to find someone who can really fix this issue.

PC Specs:

• CPU: Intel i7-12700K
• Corsair Hydro Water Cooling
• Mobo: Asus Prime Z690-P WiFi D4
• GPU: Asus GeForce Strix RTX 3090 24 GB
• RAM: G.Skill Trident RGB 32 GB DDR4-3600 CL16
• Storage: Silicon Power 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME x 2 (2 TB Total)
• PSU: Seasonic Focus GX 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular
• Monitor: Gigabyte M32U 32" 4K 144Hz Monitor & OS Windows 10 Pro fully updated

As far as testing goes, I wasn't able to test it, I did not buy any air cooling fan to try these components because with the new LGA1700 there wasn't much to choose from.

So now after I have the system completely setup, I don't think I have many options to try to test it, I need to find some tech specialist who can help with it. Let add a pic to give you an idea of my build.

I don't mean an air cooler for the PC, I mean the cooling solution that came with the GPU that you removed. The obvious thing to test is the GPU with it returned to stock.

What brand and type of pcie riser cable are you using?

Ok, after several ways and means of testing different components, I have tried two different GPUs, two different PSUs, also two different PCIe Extension cables and two different Mobos, I have come to the conclusion that my Asus Z690 has its main PCIe slot faulty, I am so happy and glad that my Asus RTX 3090 is working just fine, I have also tested in different 3D benchmarking apps and its just damn fine! So thank God is working as it should, my next step is working with Asus about having RMA the mobo, thank y'all
