Question I spent $700 on a new pc, installed everything and every time I plug the power cord in, it keeps on turning on and of by itself

The specs r core i3 quad 3.7 ghrz gtx 1060 6gbs, ASRock fatality b240 gaming k4, 755 watt psu, 16 gb ram 1 stick

Please verify the model number of your motherboard. If you're actually referring to the B250 Gaming K4, then I'd probably look towards your motherboard's front panel connectors.

Nvm, the reset wire wasn’t plugged in, I plugged it in and the problem is still there

I also put this together yesterday, so even if it did boot up it would go straight to the bios

I restarted the cmos and removed the battery, now the pc stays on, but no video

Take out the graphics card and connect your display to one of the motherboard outputs.
What display do you have and please verify what motherboard you have.

I have the 450 and all the motherboard outputs don’t work either (hdmi vga dvi)

By display, I mean computer monitor. What is the model number for it.

Before you tried connecting the monitor to your motherboard, did you actually remove the graphics card? If not, remove it. reset CMOS (see your motherboard manual section 2-5). This resets BIOS to the default settings and re-enables the on-board graphics. Then connect your monitor to the motherboard output and power up. Do you still not get an image on your monitor?

What exact i3 model do you have?

I think i figured out why there is no video, when I bought a cpu, I checked to see if only the size would fit, but apparently the motherboard only supports up to a 7th gen intel processor, and the cpu I bought as an 8th gen. Is that why there is no video? If so, thank you for bearing with me and answering my questions!

Oh, the cpu model was an i3 8300 es version, so it was kinda sketch, but cheap, so I bought it

Yes. That would explain it. You need a 300 series motherboard in order to run the 8th Gen processors.
