I spilled on my nitro 5 2 weeks ago and i have been letting it dry. I was able to make it turn on back then by pressing hard on certain parts of the keyboard, and one time it just stayed on, i didnt turn it off but it just slept. It ran out of battery though, and turned off. Now no matter where i press i cant seem to make it boot.

I took out the laptops keyboard, which was really hard to get to, and wiped the membrane part, metal part, and the one for the back light all with alcohol and let it dry .I put it back and it still won't power on.

Now there are tricks to power on the laptop without a workkng power button, by activating it with metal or something, but it is not possible for this laptop as the power button does not have its own external part, its just with the keyboard, and acts just like another key, having a wire in the membrane and all.

I then noticed that the membrane layer still had a thin layer of plastic covering the wires, and i was wondering if i should split them apart and wipe them clean, or if i should cut the wire for the power button and tap it with metal or something just like the trick with the other laptops with a broken normal power button. Any advice?
