I split a bit of water into my keyboard and it totally messed it up, i have warranty on it so i took it in and they said they needa check for physical damage before i can get a new one, will they be able to see water damage?

Depends how bad the water damage is.

Take a phone for example. My Droid 4 has a water tab in it, any amount of water and it is instantly noticed by someone working on it. Keyboards typically lack this feature, but if there was enough water to damage the board it should be apparent.

Yes. I spilled a bit of soup into my keyboard then I panicked and pour baby oil into it and now some keys on it don't function anymore.

It was maybe a teaspoon maybe a table spoon at most split and a fraction of that got in (BTW its a Corsair k95)
