I sprayed compressed air againt the spinning direction of the fan.

I cleaned my PC with a can of compressed air and by mistake sprayed once against the spinning direction of one of the fans.After I cleaned the PC, I turned it on and the fan was working normally.I am really afraid of having broken it, because I know it is dangerous to spin the fan in the opposite direction.Can you please answer me?Thank you.

If it's working silently it should be fine. I have not heard about the dangers of spinning the fan backwards. You could cause it to burn the motor down if you stop it or force it backwards while it's on but first the blades would break. When off, the blade should be completely loose from the motor and free to move each direction.

If the fan is working and not making a ticking sound then its fine.

It doesn't make any sounds and it works normally.Also, my PC was disconnected from any cables when I sprayed it with the can of air.So it is not broken, is it?

If its working then I wouldn't worry about it. Just check in a week or two if the fan is still running fine.
