I taken two 4gb ram to my pc but they are showing one 4gb only usageble

Hi, Try clearing the CMOS and see if something changes. What Windows, board, CPU do you use?

windows 32-bit can read only 4gb ram......ud have to switch to 64bit for more.....if its in the bios screen , reset cmos and make sure theres no dust and that the temps are ok....if you still have the problem check the CPU pins any bent pins could cause that
