I think I accidentally purchased unsupported RAM...

So I bought the ASRock-H97M-PRO4 motherboard along with 4x4 GB RAM.

The RAM sticks in question are the G.Skill Ares series F3-1600C8D-8GAB set.

I looked at the ASRock Memory Support section of this specific motherboard, and the only values that matched were the F3-1600, although none of them states a 4GB stick. Do I need to buy a new set of RAM? 🙁

The memory support page is just stuff that's been tested - it doesn't mean your ram won't work , the chances are it will be fine.
Haswell h97 boards are fairly forgiving on ram configuration (not like the old days) & the gskill stuff is a common brand.

I hope that's the case. I'm waiting on the final component for my build which is the GPU. It's supposed to arrive today. When I install it and turn on my system then hopefully everything will be fine. :)

Lokking around the Ares definitely works on your board with no problem at default settings but I've only seen 2x4 or 2x8 GB configurations.
The board supports 4 sticks upto 32gb though so in essence there's no reason whatsoever it don't work fine
