I went in my program files on my main drive and saw a folder called DIFX, I thought it was part of a program I deleted long ago so I quickly deleted it without thinking. After being unsure after deleting it I looked it up and saw that it has to do with driver downloads. Is this a program I need or not? If I do how do I go about re-obtaining the program?

thankyou

JavaScript:

No it's not, If you have all updates, they removed it from the system, so no worries my friend.
"The DIFx driver store is a repository for driver packages that is located on the computer's hard disk drive and is managed by Microsoft Windows Driver Install Frameworks (DIFx). DIFxApp, DPInst, and other DIFx tools use the driver store to store and retrieve driver packages."

Just go to your recycle bin. It will be located there, and you are able to restore it.
