[SOLVED] I think I disabled the 'mic' on my computer?

So my problem is that I can't get any input from my microphone. I've tested it with the system's mic check, discord, League voice, OBS, nothing works.
I remember opening CS:GO then switching some input/outputs and I remember at some point my computer asked me to 'Disable games from using your mic' or something similar to that, so maybe that is what caused this problem?
I've checked the sound settings and Recording Devices, and they're all enabled so idk what else to do. pls help.

Edit: weird thing is that I tried the "Listen to this device" option in the Properties part of my headphones in the Sound Settings and it seems to work. So it looks like my problem is letting applications access my microphone which I think I disabled.

The most obvious is to go to the Microphone settings (search microphone privacy settings) where you will find the" Allow apps to access your microphone" on/off slider and/or choose which apps can use the microphone.
