i dont know where to put this so if its wrong sorry im new, i joined to ask this im almost in tears atm im so angry and sad but please help

basically i got a new pc from mesh computers, totally new so i was over my head with it all anyway, even just installing drivers from the disks that came with it, i was so confused.

im only 15 and this is my first decent pc, it had windows 8, now even though i was told by EVERYONE its terrible, i had a windows 7 in my house so i had a failsafe if i didnt like it, long story short my mum threw it away without telling me, insisting that since id have 8 on my new pc i would not need 7.

however she did not tell me until i decided i didnt like 8 and needed the 7. so i was pissed, anyway the pc was randomly restarting due to a different problem each time, being retarded i never looked just let it restart, it forced it anyway, so i decided to do a full system reset, assuming that would fix the issue what ever it may have been, probably no drivers installed and it couldnt function, i feel like ******* killing myself coz i do *** like this all the time :'(.

it was taking a while and it stopped at 42%, me again being a total ****tard thought after 2 hours of 42% it had frozen, and turned it off at the button on the back of the pc, turned it on and i get a message saying "an operating system wasn't found. try disconnecting any drives that don't maintain an operating system. press ctr+alt+del to restart" and when i do it just gives me the same screen.

please help, i sold nearly all my stuff, xbox and the games and all sorts to get it and i have only had it for a day.

Solution
When your system boots up, posts all the hardware, the next thing is it tries to load the OS, but like the messages states "an operating system wasn't found..." Nothing is wrong at all, so don't panic. Simply re-install whatever OS you have available to you. If it's Windows 8 then install that. No need to disconnect any drives or anything like that. Put the CD into the drive, start up the system - if the installation doesn't automatically start up, then reboot the system and tap F11 (or whatever F-key your BIOS specifies as the boot selector) and select the installation disk - and proceed with the installation.
sorry i am a bit distraught, basically when i boot it sais

"an operating system wasn't found. try disconnecting any drives that don't maintain an operating system. press ctr+alt+del to restart"

what can i do? if i do press ctr alt del it just brings me back to the same screen.

Solution
having a few problems with my new build as well and had a similar problem yesterday, i opened up the bios on start up and checked drives etc, try starting it up from the CD drive instead of the hard drive with the windows 7 or 8 install disc in, this should bypass your hard drive to start with and load install from the disc as if starting from new and should run install or repair. Mine came up with a black screen originally saying "missing operating system". This solved my problem and may solve yours if you cannot get it to work.
