I think I pretty much destroyed my PC and would like advice

I've had this PC for about 2 years now and decided to factory reset it as I wanted to clear away alot of junk that I thought was causing performance issues. I did the factory reset last night and to put it in simple terms I think I couldn't regret it more, The amount of audio issues that I'm having is ridiculous from ingame sounds playing through TeamSpeak to Audio and Mic quality being absolutely horrible and to add to this not only did the reset not help performance but I think it actually made it worst. My question is if there is anything I could do to fix this or if I'm screwed or possibly if anyone might know what's causing the issues?

OS: Windows 8.1

If you already backed up your files to an external disk, follow the instructions at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media to reformat your computer. After reformatting and BEFORE installing other programs, download your system drivers (they should be on the cyberpower website) and install them. Only after that can you install programs.
