I just upgraded to this sweet 1.4 ghz rig on an epox 8k7a and 256 mb ddr memory - i kept my GeForce 2 MX...

I get 2429 on 3dMark2001......2429! That's ridiculous for a 1.4 platform!

sigh.....sobs....time to shell out more for a rad8500 when it comes outoh

yeah, i've already tried miniport, 4in1, det 3 12.90 anything you can think of, but my score stays in the pits..............

Sure, it might hurt the wallet, but think of the system you'll have once you've made that upgrade, and the gloating rights it affords you.

Have you tried posting to the madonion.com boards to have them help? Your score is abnormally low. I have a PIII 866 with the GTS, and I can get 2870 3DMark2001 points...I think there's definitely some stuff you can optimize.

He's got an MX, probably an MX200 at that. They suck. Then again, even the original MX sucked. In fact, the GTS is worth about 1000-2000 point more than the MX in 3DM2001.
