I have Corsair 750 RM and my graphic card is Asus Strix 980. And only after long gaming session when i am on idle , i think my PSU is making that strange buzzing noise , like on that movie:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA7B5on-6yU

When noise started , its for about 3-4 seconds then its gone. Its very short.
I just have that noise after long gaming sessions. Finally at the end, can somebody explain me why i have that noise only after quitting games not during games?
Something like bzzz bzzzz.
Thank you. I have Corsair RM 750 not AX like on pasted movie. Is this difference?
So question is. I must RMA PSU or this is normal ?

Probably games prime 95 doesn't put the gpu under load at all.

When i am quitting games after long session gaming then i think my PSU is buzzing ( on idle ) for only few seeconds. Its normal or i must RMA it?
Only after long session gaming ( idle ), not during games.

Its coil whine not that serious you can rma it if you want (if they will even take it back for that) but the new one you get will more than likely do the same thing.

I dont know and i doubt it matters. Its probably what tiny voices said "the PSU is probably making less power, not that you have exited the game, and it makes some whine as it winds down."

I have the same PSU myself and it seems that the fan is only active when the PSU is under enough load. So when you are not gaming your machine does not consume enough power (so the PSU keeps its fan shut down) and during long gaming sessions the PSU use more powers and thus turns on the fan. I think it says something about that in the manual.

I know that but why after long gaming sessions something is buzzing from my pc? Not during gaming but after long gaming sessions on idle. I suspect PSU but i can be graphic card too.

The noise is not very loud, but just loud enough to indicate that something is wrong. The noise comes and goes and I've pinppointed that the sound is coming from my PSU area.

It sounds like a bug is buzzing around... you know the sound a fly makes when it hits an indoor window and tries to escape... sounds like that.. just not quite as loud.

Again its coil whine it doesn't matter when it does it, it is coil whine and it could be coming from your psu or graphics card or both.

I think is gpu guys.
When fans slowing down and when they turn off for the "0 dB" mode ( idle ) , and then i am hearing buzzing noise for a few seconds.
Its normal? Why i am hearing buzzing noise when fans completely turns off for the 0db mode?

I dont know how many times i can say coil whine. Its normal lots of gpu's do it. Go on google and search coil whine if you really want to know why this happens and what it means.

No matter what game. Always when i put card on load ( furmark , games ) and then when i quit game or benchmark i can hear that noise for a few seconds.
Its not buzzing when I start a game but the buzzing starts after a couple of seconds after gaming ,when the fans turn off for the "0 dB" mode
My card making that buzzing noise after long gaming session on idle, like here:

Its something bad with card?^

After the fan goes back to off, it makes some buzzing, but not too loud. Is this normal on that card?
Card when it is powering down from a really heavy graphics intense program like Unigine Heaven or Crysis3 makes this buzzing noise, but only for 1-2seconds then it goes away.
