I've gone from de dusting a fully functioning pc with compressed air yesterday, to my PC turning itself off on the windows welcome screen but starting up just fine in safe mode to this morning where my PC not even booting up, turn the power on, fans power up then nothing.

My system:-

Xfx nforce 790i ultra
Core 2 duo
Corsair ddr3 2gb x 3
Geforce GT 740 sc
Psu 900w
1tb hdd x2

System has been stripped back to barebones, mbo is reporting in as FF (fully functional) and when I was able to get into the bios cpu temp was 36c.

Any help would be much appreciated! Unfortunately I've got no spares so I can't track down the issues like I normally would through trial and error.

using compressed air on your system shouldn't of caused any issues what so ever, the only possible thing I can think is that you have knocked some cables out or that the PSU has blown if its not even powering up anymore.

I've taken the system apart and put it back together to rule out any issue with cables and such. It's powering up, fans, LEDs and the digital mbo display. The PC just doesn't want to boot up.

sounds like you have a problem with the boot manager, does it just get stuck at the motherboard display screen or does it try to load your OS?
