Whenver I play a game, my CPU has 100% usage and my temps are really high. I am really dumb because I've been playing games at 100% usage for like the whole year but never bothered to check my temps. I use stock cooler.

Here's my CPU temps while playing Black Ops 4:

Here's my idle temps:

These temps are very high (obviously) and something is definitely wrong. I tried to troubleshoot; I thought it would be dust related but my computer is not dusty to the point where it will hinder performance: https://imgur.com/ifg6FZn (flash makes it look worse but definitely needs cleaning though)

What should I do? I've been thinking of just buying a Hyper 212 Cooler but I want to know some steps before buying. Please help. Thank you.

Solution
The temps are high even for idle, even if it is on a crappy stock intel HSF.

And even if the flash from your camera makes things looks worse, it does need cleaning.

The next thing to check is the fan speed. What is the fan speed at idle vs in game. If the fan speed is not increasing at load, it is not providing the necessary cooling.
