imma break it real quick.

I know during idle i only have 1 fan spinning, of course that's normal.

But during gaming or benchmarking on uniengine heaven, my temp at best got into 98 d celcius,
with only still, 1 fan spinning.
i also got into msi afterburner, and set fan speed 100%.

STILL ONLY 1 FAN SPINNING.

Is there any more ideas, or steps i can get to know if its officially dead?

GPU is

GPU is still working fine, i can game, no artifact, but the problem the temp got so high, with only 1 fan spinning made it uneasy for me.

I just spend my money on this new build i thought i could re use my gpu, but it seems, i might want to get rid of this old gpu too. using less than 3 years.

See if you can replace fans.

Find out fan dimensions. I couldn't see any dimensions listed but could be in the manual.

Check YouTube on tutorials how to change.

I hope its just the fan motor rather than pcb circuitry. I've never replaced a gpu fan before but if each fan has it's own header on the pcb, try swap it to the header the apparently dead fan is connected to.

I posted a thread where my 2nd GPU fan is not spinning, but i'm out of budget literally to even get a new card.
So, i'm gonna hold it off.

question is, in order to not peak 80 d celcius during gaming, can i lower my power limit to 60% and increase fan speed by 80%?

Drawbacks would be only 1 fan is doing the cooling for the gpu but i do have case fan for more cooling option.
As long i do not peak over 80 d celcius should be fine right?

Will this effect the lifespan of my psu? motherboard? or maybe other components in my pc?
