I think my GPU is Dying :(

So i've got a sapphire rx 480 nitro+ 8gb, it was a great card for a long while till just recently it's started crashing for no reason while i'm gaming. It first started in Skyrim, so I thought it was mods and largely ignored it, but then I started playing war thunder and boom green screen system crash where i had to hold the power button to cycle it. I'm worried my card is just dying due to the fact it overheated one time when the Trixx software didn't load my fan profile and they just stayed off till the system shut down. I wouldn't be so worried if it were not for the fact that i've owned this card for 14 months and Amazon won't take returns and Sapphire warranty says it must be returned to the original seller. my Specs are
i5-7600k
asus z270i
kingston fury ddr4 2400 2x8

Amazon will not accept a return for it just as a return, but if the warranty is valid, did you contact Sapphire to check on it?
Best way to test the card is try it in another known good system with a good power supply.
