Mining apaprently takes it's toll on the GPU or anything that is used to mine. Due to the mining process, the load induced on the GPU isn't the same as a benchmarking tool. It's one of the reasons why you're asked to manually set the fan's RPM of the GPU to max, when you mine as it stresses out the power delivery on the GPU.

Sadly when you use a GPU for mining, it's a one way route whereby once it's expended, the only place for said mined GPU is in an e-waste bin.

Dropping a GPU onto a gaming motherboard doesn't exactly make it a gaming system. You can play games on bottom of the barrel motherboard's even. Might want to parse the specs to your (latter)build that you've put the mined GPU in. List them like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.
