I think my graphics card is damaged, what do I do?

So, I open my laptop one day, and my display is messed up. Everything is squashed to the left, there is an empty black bar to the right, and only the upper half of the screen shows. Also, there are some vertical lines down the center of my screen. It was working fine literally an hour and a half before, I simply closed it and later opened it to see all this. What's wrong, and how would I go about fixing it? I'm working on an Acer Aspire 2920, if that helps any.

You could try reinstalling the graphics drivers.
Could you post the specs? (mainly the graphics card)

Yeah, I've restarted it several times. No change. How would I reinstall the graphics driver? And how would I find the specs? The card is whatever it came with. Sorry, I know I'm not much help.

Not much, I was working on a logo on Photoshop. Not really, no.
