I don't know if this is just because I bought a cheap hdd but I think my hdd is slow. I have a perfectly good system it's just that loading times is worse than my old laptop.
It takes up to 15 seconds to launch chrome but when it's launched it doesn't lag.
My PC is really slow after boot and while it's booting. I was thinking of getting a ssd but I think I am going for Intel Optane, but I don't want to go for Intel Optane if my drive is damage or something.
When I play fortnite I sometimes wont load in before the bus arrives.
My disk goes from 0 to 100 all the time, often when idle as well.

Some specs:
HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM010 - hard drive - 1 TB - SATA 6Gb/s
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz. Turbo up to 4 GHz I think.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce Gtx 1060 3gb MSI Gaming X
RAM: 8 gb
