Hello all, this week my PC crashed displaying a WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR at first I thought this was nothing. Oh god I was wrong. After that error the system wouldn't even reach windows 10 login screen. So I decided I would wipe my SSD and reinstall Windows 10 as it could have been an issue to do with corrupted OS. Once all the install was done for my windows and was on restart to do the update, my PC got up another error after the "Getting Devices Ready" and this time it was an 0xc0000001 error.

So after this my build was fully broken down and so just my MB is out on the box. All the voltages have been checked for my PSU and the output is correct, done all the typical MB checks and all seems fine. What I have found is with my Motherboard (GA-Z77X-UP4 TH), CPU (i7 3770K at stock was at 3.9 correct voltage for clock speed) and my Alpenföhn K2 Mount Doom.

My CPU can run ubuntu until the CPU actually is put under load and I believe this links to my issue of not being able to install windows 10. I've had all the parts from release and just upgraded to 1060 without having any issues until this week. If this all adds up do i get new LGA 1155 CPU or something new? was thinking about an Xeon E3-1230 V2 but idk. I only play league of legends as a game then use pc as a work station.

Try removing the CMOS battery for awhile to be sure settings in BIOS are correct. May want to try using 1 RAM to test as well. Could also be a failing SSD. A CPU itself going bad is quite rare. Were you running overclocked before?

I've done a full bios reset and it still happens. My ssd is brand new and so i doubt there is anything wrong with that. I was running overclocked but all the voltages were what they were supposed to be.

I've checked it to the point that the system will boot with the any of my 2 ram sticks however i dont have access to memtest due to no OS
