Hey all!

I recently bought a used computer, and i feel like some tasks and games are working way slower than it should be, considering my specs. (i7 7700k, Gtx 1070). i used the speed test of Userbenchmark and the results were very low. Is there any way to check if my CPU is damaged or not, or any way to improve the performance?

im having massive fps drops, games and updates are taking so long to load.

Also, when i look into the local disk, i see windows.old.

Thanks for the help!

windows.old is left over after a semi-annual version update, and may be deleted...

Are your temps normal in HWMonitor? (35C idle at 800-1000 MHz? 65-70C under load?)

Does your CPU ramp at least one core to 4.5 GHz under load? (install and look at HWmonitor)
