I think my monitor blew a fuse.

The monitor is an old Square dell, if that helps. But anyway, I have it plugged into my laptop just for a dual screen display, and it was all working fine for a few days, but this morning i turned it on, the laptop work fine. However, the monitor made a loud popping noise, flashed my desktop, then went off. Now it will not turn on at all. Did it blow a fuse? If so, how do I fix it?

Please help!

u r assuming it blew a fuse...no way of knowing precisely without hands on...

i ll say...take it to a professional store in ur vicinity and let them test it out for the fault...they wont charge much to test, but they will charge for fixing...going ahead with fixing is ur discretion but atleast u ll get the idea, if at all fixable indeed...

It says on the back "Model No. 1702FP"
BTW it was made in 2002, so it's not exactly new
