[SOLVED] I think my SSD died.

My SSD (Samsung 840 Pro) has been running slow (slow bootup, games still load fast) for the past few months but this morning I turned the system on and I got the "Reboot & Select proper Boot Device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device & press a key" message. Did my SSD kick the bucket or is there something else I can try to fix it?

Boot into BIOS and ran a HDD test, it will tell you if your SSD has gone south. Also you check to see if you don't have any USB drive plugged in (in case you have default boot device as USB drive).

Change sata cables and move it to another port, see if it shows up in the bios. Could be a bad cable or even a port going out.

Yea so it turns out my SSD is a paperweight and of course it's 3 months past the warranty. I'll be eventually replacing it with a Crucial MX or Samsung 850 EVO. Thanks for the help.
