Question I think the discrete GPU is dead ?

Hello, I have a Laptop with a Nvidia Geforce 940MX GPU and I think it has died. In GPU-Z it shows 0mhz clocks and 0mb of vram, but it also shows that the GPU is working.
So I have been using the laptop's iGPU but that sucks due to the fact that it's an i5-7200u CPU with HD Graphics 620 . Well if I can get some help that would be amazing. I also tried to flash it but the vbios is with my actual bios on my pc which is on its latest version.

To corroborate your findings, if you're seeing the discrete GPU(940MX) in Device Manager flagged with an exclamation mark with an Error Code 43 when viewing it's properties, then yes combined with the 0MB found on GPU-Z your GPU is knocked out cold. You will need to replace the entire motherboard, which is the same as buying a brand new laptop with concurrent tech.
