Thermaltake sais that this PSU is 500 WATT is there any reason why I should think differently?

that's my case; at the bottom of the page is the PSU specs, that is the PSU that I have also, is it any good if not, why?

its just a very cheap psu, built with pretty cheap components. it may work fine for you, but i wouldn't use it. whats the rest of your specs for the pc?

Im sorry but I don't think you understand what im talking about, I have doubts that this PSU is 500 WATT and I need someone to look at the PSU specs and tell me

Its junk/lower end like a lot of their PSUs. Floppy connectors? Only 3 sata plugs? A single 6pin PCIe plug? Assuming you can add both rails together (which you usually can't) you'd have 29A on your 12V rails. This comes out to 348W of usable power. Compared to more modern day PSUs this is more like a 350W.

That said you aren't running any high power draw devices in your computer. Your CPU only draws 77W max, and your GPU doesn't even need a PCIe plug. It's not a great/good PSU, but for your needs you'll be fine.

Mate; the computer is already built, im using it right now but now im wondering if I really should get an upgrade PSU, will it make a large difference?

Like in the other thread, i said, if you want a better card, you should get a new psu, you have a good cpu, with a mid end card and a decent psu for it, it will be the best, i know it will cost, but it's worth, specially if you're into gaming.
You can find good psu under 100$(Australian dollars).

Thanks, I see computer alliance has some good PSU that I could get for $70 thanks everyone

Just check if the psu you're buying is from a good brand/model.
