Hello and Thank you,

As the title suggests, I thought that I upgraded my system but my performance has been much worse. Lots of crashes where I never used to crash at all. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Old Build:
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
AMD 4 FX-8370 Octa-Core
MSI 970 Gaming DDR3 2133 AMD MOBO
16 GB DDR3 2133 MT/s Udimm
EVGA 600W

New Build:
AMD 4 FX-8370 Octa-Core
MSI 970 Gaming DDR3 2133 AMD MOBO
2x Radeon Nitro+ 580 8GB
EVGA 850W

I also added 16GB more memory but it is not exactly the same as the other memory that was in there. So I have a mismatched 4x 8gb memory. This seems like the obvious choice for the issue but I guess I am not sure.

Corsair CMY16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance Pro Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHZ (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory 1.5V

and

Ballistix Elite 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3 2133 MT/s (PC3-17000) Udimm w/Xmp/TS 240-Pin - BLE2K8G3D21BCE1

Frame rate is a mess and a lot of crashing during gaming

My advice is to put your computer back the way it was. Test it and verify it is working like before. Now upgrade the videocard, but only install ONE 580. Test the computer and verify that it is working normally, as in you can boot Windows and fiddle around on your desktop. If it is working fine, now test performance in a game you are familiar with. Does it work?

Save upgrading ram, and installing the second card, for later. If you do too much at once then you make troubleshooting a bigger headache than it needs to be.

Ok I ran memtest86 no errors after running for like 20 hours through all 4 cycles.... Then it suggests to run in parallel mode, so I do that, and it restarts after about 15 seconds of testing. I tried it twice more and same thing.

Also I did format and reinstall when I changed the GPU's.

Unfortunately the performance is still really poor when gaming. It really struggles if I am running multiple monitors. The gpu memory clock is constantly maxed out. My old gpu handled this much better. I have the latest drivers... Anything to do with Freesync now that I am using an AMD gpu maybe?
