I tried to switch place of video card and it not working!

Hello guys!
i have 2x video cards R7 260x 1 is from msi 1 is from xfx . The msi is seat in the x16 slot and the xfx seat in the x8 slot i tried to cross fire them and they are working fine till today when i play crysis 3 game the msi card pump the temp up to 76C, after that i tried to switch the xfx to the x16 slot and the msi to the x8 slot but only the xfx could work. also i check my bios the xfx showing x8 and i could not see the msi . i tried to reseat the msi but nothing change. is there any way to fix this??

try them 1 at a time msi in x16 slot xfx in x16 slot see if they both populate, may be a psu issue

yeah they both show up 1 at a time in x16 slot!
well i have raid max 730W u think that because of psu??

raidmax is the single worst psu you can buy it is a tier 5 and all fail when stressed. def a psu problem you need a new one man sorry

raidmax is the single worst psu you can buy it is a tier 5 and all fail when stressed. def a psu problem you need a new one man sorry

you was right i got a really bad PSU. and also thank you so much! i just got a Corsair AX860 80 plus platinum. its working perfect now.
