i unplugged my 2tb portable toshiba hard drive and plugged it back in and now its not showing on my computer or device manage

I unplugged my toshiba 2tb external hard drive and when I plugged it back in it does not show under my computer or disk management but it says it's installed

Ok you could try this. Go into device manager, have the harddrive unplugged. Open "Universal Serial Bus Controllers". Now plugin your harddrive, if there pops up a new USB device under there click it and go for search for new drivers. This might fix the problem. At least I was able to fix similar problem with a computer which did not show Memory sticks and Phone that was connected to it.
