I tried using my Asrock AB350M PRO 4 motherboard for a Ryzen 3 2200G processor.

I used bios flash and update it to P4.90, after that my pc wont boot up.

It turns on for 20-30 secs and it is just looping.

At first I really thought it was the ram, so I decided to use my ram sticks to another system and it works.

I also tried the CMOS battery reset and it does not even work.

So my guess is, do I need a processor that is compatible with the bios update (correct me if im wrong)

If you have any suggestions that would be pretty helpful

THANK YOU GUYS IN ADVANCE :)

Wait do you were able to get into the BIOS with the 2200G installed?

If you were able to flash the BIOS with the 2200G installed then your mobo BIOS already supported the 2200G. IF that's the case and now it doesnt work then the BIOS flash went wrong and chances are you bricked your mobo

Which version did you update from ? You might have skipped one. For 4.90 it's clearly marked "If the current BIOS version is older than P3.40, please update BIOS to P3.40(Bridge BIOS) before updating this version. "
