I upgraded my CPU but my PC thinks its still using the old CPU

Hi guys I need your help.
Today i upgraded my old CPU (FX 4300) to a newer version (FX 6350) but my PC still thinks that it is using the old CPU.

How do i change this?
Any help will be appreciated.

Also i just checked my BIOS and it says i have 6 cores

Probably just a bug in the task manager. If the boot screen, or the BIOS says you have the 6350, it is working as it should. Download CPU-Z and see what it says.

Did you go into Device Manger to delete all processors and then reboot? That should take care of your issue.
