I upgraded my CPU today and now I have no sound/audio. My speakers are plugged into the correct port (and the power light on the speaker is on; they get their power from a USB port on the computer). The Get Help area of Windows 10 acknowledges that there is a problem; "It looks like there might be an issue with the audio driver. Can I have your permission to try updating the driver to fix the problem?" I give it permission and then; "Your audio driver is now up-to-date. Did that fix the issue?" But, no. Any ideas? I am at a loss. If I try again it will repeat this scenario/chain of events.

Might want to manually find the drivers and reinstall them.

I can help you find those if you let me know what we are working on.

Thank you for responding and I REALLY appreciate it, but I stumbled on the fix myself; for some reason (?), my computer had changed the correct output device. How do I mark a thread as solved?
