I use the Lexor 8G flash drive. Had it for quite a while and at some point swapped it from my Toshiba laptop to a MAC. It worked fine. But now when I plug it back into my Toshiba it just flashes and is inaccessible. The MAC is with my EX and I'll never see it again (or her).I have information that is important to me on the drive. How can I retrieve it?

Solution
Find a friend with a Mac.
Connect your flash drive.
Assuming it reads properly, upload whatever critical data to some cloud service. Dropbox or whatever.
Connect to that via your PC and proceed.

Moving a flash drive between a Windows PC and a Mac often results in 'can't be read on one or the other'.

Thank you. It's worth a shot. I'm from Hawaii but have been overseas and CCAFS working for the Army and USAF (GPS) for 20 years. I'll see if I can find someone w/ Mac that will let me try this. In the mean time I'd like to keep this active just in case. Like I said I'm from here but have been away for a long time. Heck, people that I grew up with or later worked with are beginning to die off. But I've got a lot of breathing left to do. And if anyone can help w/o the need for another Mac please jump in.
