i used Evga precision x for zotac gtx 960 , is it wrong ?

Evga Precision fan profile is much much much better than firestorm
Evga precision kept card temp with photoshop at 33 degree while firestorm kept rising till 50 degree

is it wrong to use evga fan profile for zotac ?

Short answer, no... EVGA precision is "universal" for any GPU manufacturer/chipset. However, I'll ditto with SR-71 on the MSI Afterburner. It's the most reliable and used GPU monitoring/OC software available... Did I say reliable?

I would recommend trying it. Just ensure to uninstall the EVGA software, to include folders firstly.

Before you install and use MSI AB, be sure to uninstall EVGA precision completely. Windows uninstall, will often leave folders behind in your C: drive and need to be deleted manually.

ops i was opening photoshop cc with Heaven 3D benchmark i see why temp was rising
