This is my first time building a pc, i don't wanna spend too much. The mobo im considering is asus prime x570p with 16gb ram. Also, the gpu i wanna buy is rtx 2060 super..will it work with amd processor, mobo or would i need radeon card? if so, which radeon should i get?

Solution
The 3600x is a very strong gaming cpu and getting a cpu with more cores/threads gives limited performance increase. The 3600x and RTX 2060 are a great pairing for 1080P 60Hz or even 144Hz+.

If you don’t want to spend to much why are you looking at X570 motherboards instead of B450 or B550?

Nice potential build and v.good motherboard. Nvidia/Amd, it doesn't matter which brand of GPU you run. A restriction like that would spell the END for a company.

3600x is decent for today's gaming. Just pair it with good ram, Gskill Trident 3600 CL 16 of at least 2x 8GB. Keep it to two sticks only, four will limit XMP speeds. Also fyi, never mix ram from a different set. Manufacturing differences can be picked up on and can cause issues. Best only use ram packaged as a set.
