I Wanna Get an new CPU WHAT SHOULD I GET THERES SO MANY

Okay, right now i have a AsRock Z77 Pro3 motherboard it Supports LGA 1155 CPU's so i have right now a intel core i5 3570k CPU
will an cooler master hyper 212 pluss CPU cooler
I just Bought a Gigbyte radeon hd 7970 oc gigybe version and its on its way


so now i wanna get a CPU upgrade
if i do will i see a big diference in performance

i was looking at the core i7's or and other type that would be around the 2012 realease 2011 realease

if i got a core i7 would i need a new motherboard if so what kind is best
wich one would be a good one for extreme gameing like bf3, Minecraft, metro 2033 ,Dirt 3, Skyrim, Diablo 3, Planet side 2,

i wanna spend around the same price i payed for my GPU
around 400 to 600

Is there new ones comeing out right a way so i should just wait

Iam haveing a hard time Figuring out whitch one i wont

i do a bit of over clocking but ive herd that my current motherboard isn't that great for over clocking

You will see a negligable if any difference at all. I wouldn't even consider getting a new cpu until you do a full upgrade or it is bottlenecking you current gpu. Which depending on how often you upgrade, could be a while. I would advise on keeping your 600 for something else. Also if you really just like upgrading, intel is coming out with a new socket next year that will probably run laps around the current gen.

You probably won't need to upgrade your CPU for at least 3 years IMO.
