Since you're new it's probably best you take it slow in the start. So start with increasing the core speed by maybe 20Mhz. If you don't see any artefacts while stress testing with that OC on, you should be good to go on to the next one. Now apply 40Mhz. Do this until you reach a point where either your Nvidia driver crashes or you see artefacts on the monitor. Then you know you've gone a bit too far. Now it's time to add a little more juice. Since it's MSI afterburner and you probably haven't allowed it to anything else than the standard, you should be good to just max out the Core voltage slider. This should add 0.1v to the core. This will most likely make the core OC stable, however is not guaranteed.
