I have recently found I that a power supply is the most important (and underated) hardware in a gaming system. I wanted to get a new one sooon. The one I have now is....

LOGISYS Computer PS550ABK ATX12V 550Watts Power Supply With SATA and 20/24 Pin connectors.

I now want something that has mesh around the cords to minimize cord mess. Here is the one I am looking at.

also this one...

I am thinking of paying up to 80 sandwiches on a power supply. Someone help me!

Logisys and Apevia are both on Tier-5 ("Do not buy") on this list:

How many amps on 12V+ do you need?

I have a couple of these:
mushkin 550200 ATX12V 550W Power Supply 115/230 V cUL,CE,CB,FCC - Retail - $80

They have sleeved, modular cables. They run quietly and are solid.

If you want much bigger, you'll need to significantly increase your budget. $120 will get you this 600W Silverstone:

a nd $160 will get you a 750W Silverstone:

There are, of course, other options. Check out the psu tiers.

Wait for someone to send you a link with "approved" PSU brands. (EDIT: beaten to the reply button :) )
Personally, after owning a Sparkle Power for 5 years, I'm now very concerned about noise as well.
Can't go wrong with a corsair brand right now (made by seasonic).

I would recommend the Corsair 620HX. It’s a great PSU and on the +12V as 50A. It has gotten a lot of good reviews (just google) and I have one in my system and love it, also its pretty quite.

The PSU you picked is garbage.

For "80 sandwiches" I would recommend the Seasonic S12 430. It is a premium brandname that is very reliable and quiet as well. It can provide 348w (29 amps) of constant power on the 12v rail which is the most important rail since all your power hungry components draws power from.

If I recall correctly from one of your post you have an Athlon X2 5000 and an ATI 1650 Pro or XT. This PSU is more than capable of handling such a light load. You'll have plenty of room to add a more powerful video card unless you intend on installing a GeForce 8800GTX or Radeon 2900XT. You'll need a more powerful PSU for those.

Seasonic S12 430 => $75.50 excluding shipping costs and tax if applicable:
